How to play Sandwich sudoku

Sandwich Sudoku Rules

  • Fill the numbers 1-9 into each row, column, and 3x3 subgrid of a 9x9 grid.

  • Each number can only appear once in each row, column, and 3x3 subgrid.

  • Fill in the blank cells with the numbers 1-9 so that each row, column, and 3x3 subgrid contains the numbers 1-9.

  • contains extra numbers outside the grid. These extra clues indicate the sum of digits between 1 and 9 in the corresponding row or column.

Sandwich Sudoku is a type of Sudoku puzzle that uses a non-standard grid. The grid is divided into several smaller grids, and the numbers in each smaller grid must be different. In addition, there are also numbers outside of the smaller grids that provide clues to the solution.

The outer borders of the grid contain the sum of the middle numbers in the corresponding row or column. For example, in the row with the numbers 2, 4, and 6, the outer border would contain the number 12. These numbers can be used to help solve the puzzle by providing clues to the possible values of the missing numbers.

Sandwich Sudoku puzzles can be more challenging than standard Sudoku puzzles because they require players to think more creatively and use more problem-solving skills. For example, players may need to use the clues outside of the smaller grids to help them solve the puzzle, and they may also need to use logic and deduction to narrow down the possible solutions.
